The ideal combination for greenhouse film
End-user requirements for greenhouses are increasingly demanding: they need to last longer, offer better environments to promote plant growth and result in lower waste.
Our Supertough® grades are polyethylenes with a unique molecular design developed to meet those demanding requirements. With their excellent processability and mechanical properties, Supertough® is the ideal choice to simplify your film structures and offer a more sustainable greenhouse film without compromising on quality.
Our wide EVA range of different vinyl acetate percentages can help you achieve the right thermicity. Thanks to the appropriate rheology of our EVA products for greenhouse film, you can be sure of the correct bubble stability on large extrusion lines.
The combination of Supertough® 18ST05 and our EVA range provides a remarkable solution for greenhouse film with significant downgauging potential.
The ideal booster of recycled PE for silage sheets
Silage sheets need to provide the right environment for protected foodstuff to ensure the correct fermentation process and conservation. This results in optimized mechanical and barrier properties.
Due to the quest for resource efficiency, a silage sheet often contains a high amount of recycled product. Since Supertough® has superior mechanical properties, it is used either as a recycling booster or to downgauge film.
With its excellent melt strength, Supertough® is the ideal solution for extruding large silage sheets on a blown film line.
Lumicene® and EVA, for thinner but better silage stretch
Silage stretch requires demanding mechanical and barrier properties.
Lumicene® combines good mechanical properties with the requested drawability for optimal performance.
To achieve the right cling effect around the bales, our wide EVA range of vinyl acetate percentages combined to Lumicene®, provide an ideal TotalEnergies solution.
