SYNOVA’s Origins
Since its creation in 2001, SYNOVA has been a major player in the French plastics industry, with recognized expertise in the production of recycled compounds for the automotive and construction sectors. In 2006, a complementary site specializing in the grinding of used plastics was established in Noeux-les-Mines (62). Since 2019, Synova has been a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, fully contributing to the Company's ambition: to produce 1 million tons of circular polymers per year by 2030.
Production from recycled plastics
SYNOVA transforms recycled plastic materials into pellets (compounds). The company has an annual production capacity of 45,000 tons. Production is structured around four key steps:
